Wow! I knew it was supposed to be nice from the two-dimensional drawings I saw of it, but that is spectacular. I have to say that as far as beauty goes, that will rank right up there with the best of them. I don't like the idea of it having a corporate name though. I know that is the big thing now days, but I still like the days of naming them after a former star player or coach. If anything, it should be called TCF Bank Field at Bierman Stadium.

If I was Tim Brewster, I would be a little intimidated. Bringing the team up to the level of quality of that stadium is a daunting task. It should definitely help with recruiting though and brings football back to campus where it belongs.

Later tonight I'll post some construction photos. It's coming along nicely. And so is the new Twins stadium.

Is this the same none they are building for the twins too? are the vikes going to play there?

No, the Twins have their own stadium being Built in downtown minneapolis near the Target Center

Vikings aren't included with the gophers stadium... There is a rumor that the Vikings may temporarily play in the Gopher's stadium if they decide to level the metrodome and rebuild there
