Did anyone really doubt that OSU was going to be his choice? I said this months ago. Smart choice for him. I just wanted him to go over to Michigan to give OSU hell every year. I am sick of OSU dominating their conference and having such an easy road to the NC and BcS bowls. I guess that it will be that much easier now.

I'm not surprised that he went to State, but at the same time I am a little bit. He's not a pocket QB. He's more VY than Troy Smith and I don't think he fits the style of offense that they like to run like he would at Michigan or Oregon. Granted, at OSU he could be mediocre and the players around him will make him look good, but he will have to improve his accuracy a lot and he's also going to have to stay out of trouble. I mean how much does he think of himself that he waits until a month after signing day to announce his choice? I know there has been scuttle that he wanted to see if any schools would also let him walk-on the basketball team, but in the end, I think it was all about the football program. Michigan has the better offense for him, but OSU has the stability of coaching staff and the momentum vs Michigan as far as recruiting going forward.

Good post, and you're right that he is more like a VY than Troy Smith. I think that Michigan's offense would have suited him as well. However, I think that Tressel is a smart coach and will tweak things here and there to make Pryor successful. OSU will be in contention every year for the NC and will continually pound on Michigan I'm sure. I hate that he went there, but I was quite certain that he would go there the last few months.

Wait 2 more years and you'll see a big Change in Michigan. OSU won't be pounding on them for too much longer. OSU has always had problems defending the spread offense, a true spread offense not a power spread. Illinois ran the spread against them as did Florida in the NC and they couldn't stop either team. They did OK against LSU but that's more of a power spead offense with their running game.

If they use Pryor affectively, the pounding will continue I can assure you. I certainly hope that I am wrong, but Pryor looks like the real deal.

Let's see if he can make it onto the field though.. Between sitting out this year because of Boeckman and this attitude of his, I want to see if he can make it the the position of starting Quarterback.

You Buckeye fans can deny that attitude problem all you want by the way.. It's there and it's going to be something that COULD impact him if he isn't smart enough.
