Big Ten Pryor scheduled to announce this week

And per numerous sources, he hasn't visited PSU or Oregon yet...and won't take any more visits...

Quote:
Jeannette superstar Terrelle Pryor said Saturday he will make his college decision this week.

The 6-6 quarterback, considered by many to be the top football recruit in the country, also said he is down to two schools but would not reveal the finalists.

Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon made his final four last month.

So the question is...assuming Oregon's out, which Big Ten school wins out here?

Ohio State
Michigan
Penn State (dark horse since he never took an official visit)

Not likely...he never visited there either, and he's previously stated he's basing his decision mainly on football.

Who is anybody kidding.......it's going to be OSU. Just get it done with so all the hoopla can die down. Recruiting is so overrated. Many 5 star players don't pan out and many lower star athletes become stars.

I'm actually more excited by the prospect of DeVontae Payne from Cleveland South next season than I am Pryor in some ways...

This kid has brought way more attention to himself than needed. In the Pros you want as much as you can get even if it's not all good (as long as it's not really bad) but in college hype only seems to hurt you it's so hard to live up too.

Eh, Reggie Bush and a few others have lived up to their billing, what's to say this guy can't be the start of the Buckeye juggernaut that dominates the landscape for the next ten years?

I have a couple of problems with this. OSU has had good recruiting for many years, so how is one guy going to mean the start of a juggernaut? They have dominated the landscape for years (we’ll forget about Earle Bruce and John Cooper to an extent). Interesting fact……over the past 16 years or so, teams in the Big 10 with the worst record vs the SEC? Ohio State and Purdue. I was on an Iowa message board back in January and this 50 year old guy from Ohio State comes in (don’t know why……we weren’t talking about OSU, but probably in response to some loudmouth from the SEC in there) and he starts rattling off all these top prospects committing to OSU this year. It’s like, so what……ya got spanked in the NC the past two years. No offense to you personally, but your team is making us look bad. In five years, no one will remember that Iowa has been .500 the past two years, but they will still remember OSU getting spanked in back-to-back NCs. You have the coaching, the talent and the speed………what gives?
