Big Ten Spring Practices

What are some things to watch for in the Big Ten spring practices?

At OSU, we've definitely got a battle at quarterback (even if no one will admit it). I think Henton's got an outside shot to win the job if Boeckman continues to struggle.

Others...offensive line, we've got one of our three offensive lineman recruits participating (another's enrolled early, but hurt, and the other comes in this summer...I think...), and I think one of the freshman will be Kirk Barton's replacement at right tackle. Defensive line, I think we're set on Heyward and (returning from injury) Lawrence Wilson as the starters. Larry Grant's spot at SLB is up for grabs, and the entire secondary returns (w00t!).

I think at Minnesota it's seeing what this great class that Brewster brought in can do. Especially Marquies Gray and LB Sam Maresh. Now that they have the athletes to run a spread offense and got some talent on defense they should be a better team. After 1-11, how could they not?

RD...have you seen any of those O-linemen around yet? Adams and Brewster are both in Marketplace all the time, and I wouldn't be surprised at all of one of them started at RT next year and slid over to LT after Boone is gone. Those guys are giants.

@FSU, Minnesota can't help but improve this year with the better athletes they've added.
