Tressel's not taking chances with him either, from what I read beforehand he was supposed to be held out of last night's practice at The 'Shoe.

I do not think he is as fast as everyone thinks he is, just can't see him as the best RB in this class.

Dude, you need an HDTV...

(I'm going somewhere with this one, trust me)

...apparently the refresh rate isn't fast enough on your current model, he's plenty fast

So why do people seem to think Wells would be a poor fit in Denver's rush offense? His injuries worry me, but not as much as having another 205 lb back worries me!

Even with those injuries, he's played through them and played well despite them.

I don't think he'd be a poor fit in Denver either, in fact, he might fit well there. One cut and get up field combined with his ability to just flat out truck (or jump over) defenders...might work very well actually.

He isn't the type of runner for a zone blocking scheme. I'm not saying he couldn't do it, but he does not fit that scheme at all.

Moreno would be a beast in Denver or Houston.

I'll give you Moreno's probably a better fit, but to say Chris Wells doesn't fit's also inaccurate.

Since when does a back with great vision and ability to hit the hole running downhill not fit the zone blocking scheme?

He isn't quick enough for it. The zone blocking scheme is more fit for a quick finesse type of runner who sees the hole, makes his cut, and goes. I;m not saying that he couldn't run in it, but it is clearly not a system that fits his style of running.

Wells would be great in Pittsburgh's scheme.
