I think he'll end up staying in the NFL, probably signing on as a coordinator with someone. Besides Al Davis roadblocking Kiffin, he's done a good job as the Raiders coach. There's no reason for an NFL team not to try and get him on their staff.

I think it would be a bad idea. They need to find a guy with connections to the East Coast that can recruit that region well. A guy like Rob Spence from Clemson would be a good candidate for this job. An even better guy might be Mike Locksley of Illinois. He's has recruited the east coast well for Illinois and has ties there that would help him hit the ground running.
