He's the Big East player that mortifies me. I'm terrified of this guy and what he can do...he can run, throw, do it all. South Florida's definitely got all the tools to get it done...it's whether or not they can execute when the pressure mounts.

I would think that Pat White would scare you more. 8.5 yards per rush vs 3.97 for Grothe. They both average about 259 total yards a game. Grothe only has 2 more total passing TDs on 314 more attempts. He's also thrown 28 picks vs 29 TDs. I don't find him as scary as White.

On an individual level, I'm more concerned about gameplanning for Grothe myself.
As far as arm goes, he's actually got the ability to beat you with it. I'm not afraid of Pat White throwing the ball. Grothe, while he's not the explosive running threat that White is, can still get yardage and make things happen. He's also got the added advantage that a good lick isn't going to necessarily knock him out of the game. -RD

My point is that White is a little more careful with the ball. Grothe is a little bit more of a gunslinger and if I remember correctly, a fumbler.
