The Ravens are sitting at 6-4 and 2nd in the NFC North. They are currently behind 7-3 Pittsburgh and in a 4 way tie for the 2 wildcard spots. They are tied with the Broncos(currently winning their division), Dolphins, Colts, and Patriots. What do you think their chances are?

if you |ook at their schedu|e, it's pretty tricky but they have something |ike 4 home games. I wou|d say they're going to have to win a|| of the ones they shou|d win and then maybe pu|| an upset or 2 to make it.

If the season ended today the Ravens would be in the playoffs. Source: NFL Playoff Bracket - CBSSports.com
Assuming a wild card is out of reach, lets see if they can win the division: For the Ravens remaining games: Eagles - win Bengals - win Redskins - win Stoolers - win Cowboys - lose Jax - win Ravens record on the year: 11-5 I'll throw in my predictions for the stoolers remaining schedule: Bengals - win Patriots - win Dallas - win Ravens - lose Titans - lose Brownies - win Stoolers record on the year: 11-5 That puts the stoolers and Ravens at 11-5 and 5-1 in the division. I'm not sure how the tie breakers work, but I think it's by conference next. That would still have us tied up at 9-3 in the conference. Now what? If the Ravens do go 11-5 they shouldn't have to win the division to get in the playoffs, but I'm just throwing a scenario out there. That being said, I think the Ravens playoff chances are good.

yes, that's kind of what I was ta|king about. If they win a|| of the games they shou|d win and then win the toss-ups, they'|| make the p|ayoffs. I'm just not sure they can pu|| the Eag|es, Redskins, Stee|ers, and Jaguars off a|| 4 ............. if they win 3 of those 4, I think they shou|d be pretty satisfied, and 10-6 wi|| make the p|ayoffs I wou|d think.

I don't like the Ravens chances. The offense is sketchy enough to give every team they face from here on out except the Bengals a shot at them, and their defense has gotten canned a few times already. When you look at their schedule versus what the Jets, Colts, Dolphins, and Patriots are facing it will be a lot easier for the Ravens to pick up losses.
Their best chance is to beat Pittsburgh and win the division, and Pittsburgh has a leg up with the better record and the series lead.

Who then do you think the Ravens will lose to? Wost case scenario IMHO is a loss to the Redskins, steelers, and Cowboys. That puts them at 9-7 and out of the playoffs. I think they will beat the Redskins, and we are primed for revenge against the steelers. We are home for both of those games after all (check our home record over the last 10 years, I think it's 3rd overall). Obviously best case scenario is 12-6 but I don't think that's realistic.

They are going to have to rely on that offense to have a chance and IMO, 10-6 will not get it done, they will need 11 wins to get in.

So with 4 games to go the Ravens control their destiny. Right now their playoff chances are good. In fact, they could still win the division with the (can't say their name) having a tougher schedule than the Ravens. At the very least, they should make it to the playoffs.

My brother painted Flacco's car a few years ago... if only he knew he'd be an NFL starter
