No QB means bad finish.

Take it with a grain of salt, but the Ravens didn't have a QB going into the 2000 season.

But the RAvens did have a defense back then.

They STILL do. I'm not saying the Ravens are going to win it all, I doubt they will. In fact, I would be very happy with an 8-8 season.

Defense is good, but not 2000 good. It's a bit older and I hear you have some depth issues on the D-line which is why you traded for a DE. But even back in 2000 Trent Dilfer was a good care taker of the football. He didn't turn it over much. With Troy Smith you don't really know what you have since this will be his first year starting.
