Not to mention Favre is on the cover of Madden '09 which means he will be injured should he come back. Favre has also been in the West Coast Offensive his whole NFL career why would a team that doesn't run that offense take a chance on him?

It is a terrible move if they gave up a second rounder, but if the Ravens think they can compete this year then a third or fourth rounder wouldn't be the worst idea in the world.
I'm not convinced they can win, though, and they need to see what they have in Troy Smith while Flacco learns the system.
