Very interesting to see him go this high. Also, same spot as Kyle Boller five years ago...
Very big quarterback with a very big arm. They're going to need some receivers who can take advantage of the deep ball to go with him now because Clayton and Mason don't fit that mold. Look for Baltimore to find a speed receiver later. -RD

Depends on what they gave up, but Baltimore got their man, and a home-town guy. He's probably going to start very soon, as well. Unless they gave up the farm, it's good for Baltimore.

Our Take is: They basically just drafted their hometown boy, what can you say other than no flack for Flacco

At halftime, Manning asked assistant coaches Clyde Christensen and Jim Caldwell, both up in the coaches' box, "Did you guys see anything?'' They told him, "Well, you haven't thrown an incompletion (13-of-13), so we don't really have a lot of coaching points for you. Just keep doing what you're doing.'' more on Manning from a NON-COLT perspective.... ...much like the much loved (and hated by me) Peyton Manning can do, as much as I hate to admit it, he's got a very fast release, which saves his douchebaggness on multiple occasions.

I'm not sure she tops Slinger Hawk though...
Plus she looks kinda like Jailbait HEY I'm still pissed about this.. Flacco is a stud, I don't care if they reached.

i love Flacco, but i don't think this was the right move for the Ravens. The cockpit, as Savage likes to call it, isn't a very comfortable place right now in Baltimore. Todd Heap is the only receiver worth talking about and that oline isn't very good either. I would have much preferred to see them get one of the OT's and get a few receivers later. Then, next year draft your QB and at least give him a chance at succeeding.
