Who's your opening day QB? I'll say you go even 8-8 right now but a lot can change in the next couple of months. You should win 4 of those home games and 1 maybe 2 away games. The division games are a toss up thou it could go either way. Hopefully you can take at least 2 or 3.

I would say under with a bullet.

I see about a 1:5 division record and a 4:12 overall.

Huh? The Ravens had 5 Pro-Bowlers on IR last year, not to mention Ray Lewis and and Jonathan Ogden missed a combined 9 games, and terrible coaching. How are the Ravens going to do worse (5-11 last year)?

Well, for one, age. Lewis and Ogden are getting old, and they're both likely to spend more time on an injured list.

The coaching was terrible, granted. I've called Billick a bad head coach ten years ago, and even though he won a Super Bowl, that thinking never stopped. For what was supposed to be an offensive guru to have those offenses for that many years, it baffles me how he kept a job that long.

That being said, why would Harbaugh suddenly improve the team that much? What has he proven at this point, as a head coach of an NFL team?

Next, the division. I think Pittsburgh and Cleveland have become the class of the division, especially it the Browns can patch up the defense.

I'm undecided on the Bengals, but it's becoming clearer to me that Lewis, much like Billick, isn't cut out to be a head coach.

I look at their schedule, and like I said, 1:5 division record. I think, even though the division is always a fierce fight, that the Steelers and Browns find their ways to sweeps of the Ravens, and the Bengals split. Their home schedule looks very rough, but I think they'll beat Oakland and Tennessee. And on the road, the only real winnable game I see is Miami, and even that one is questionable.

I don't like anything about the Ravens right now, sorry.

I'd say anywhere from 6-10 to 8-8, so I'll go with under.

I have to say 500 on the nose. Tough schedule. Why? They are already in one of the toughest NFL divisions. Add to that they have to play 2 more kickass divisions(NFC East and AFC South)

@ ruuuuudiii: You're too funny.

@ Everyone else: 8-8 seems reasonable, but my purple glasses are leaning towards a positive record

I have to say 6-10. They have the talent, but age is creeping up on them and they haven't done much to address the eventual replacements for Ray Lewis, Jonathan Ogden, Chris McAlister and Samari Rolle. They don't have a solid starting QB yet (although I think Smith should get a chance). They have a new, unproven coach.....so 6-10 sounds about right with that schedule.
