Ravens hope they have the slots to fill biggest needs

There is a lot of suspense surrounding the Ravens' first-round pick in the 2008 draft. Will it be a cornerback or an offensive tackle?

Or will general manager Ozzie Newsome stick to his philosophy of taking the best player available?

The second round has even more excitement because the Ravens will probably select a quarterback from among Louisville's Brian Brohm, Delaware's Joe Flacco and Michigan's Chad Henne.

"Kyle Boller set them back, what, how long has he been with the team, five years?" asked ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. "It was his job, then he lost it. Then they have to bring in Steve McNair, and then he gets hurt, and then they bring in a Troy Smith.

I think the QB position will last for the 2nd round...I think they should take a OT with there first Pick

Everyone says we need to replace Ogden, we need to replace Ogden, but I think a bigger issue is CB. I would be enthusiastic if Leodis McKelvin or Mike Jenkins were Ravens next season.

yeah i have to think the Ravens will probably go CB in the first... whoever NE doesn't take really. Unless they totally love one of those OT's...

I keep forgetting about Rolle and McAlister. Both are over 30, and missed eight games last year, and I'm not impressed with the depth that is behind them. Yeah.....I think they need to draft a CB. Then, I'd look at QB and then offensive line.
