ATL Turner proves looks can be deceiving

Quote:
ATLANTA – Survival of the fastest: That’s what happens when you grow up as one of six brothers. Six big brothers.

Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner is one of six boys who have all grown to at least 215 pounds and range from his 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-4.

At 242 pounds, Turner is proportioned like his siblings – a stout man built like a bowling ball with legs.

Michael Turner is having a really good year. That wasn't really a surprise to anyone though really when he played well all the time in San Diego.

Good for him though. He is sort of like a Maurice Jones Drew.

well, i was leading the bandwagon, saying he was the next Lamont Jordan but Turner is obviously a lot hungrier and runs harder than Jordan. I was wrong about the guy.

Not me, I always saw him run the hell out of the ball in SD. RB's like him usually do pretty well in this league. Those fast small strong runners. I remember reading an article before the season where they were saying that he was actually faster than LT. Don't know if that is true, but I remember reading that exact thing.
