Despite the loss on Monday night, It's still a fairly safe bet that Zona will join Minnesota and New Orleans in the playoffs. But then who, With a wide open NFC East still searching for a winner, and three teams vying to be that winner, while all three are also thick in the wild card chase. Who's in, who's out?
Remaining schedules:
Philadelphia Eagles (9-4)
San Francisco
Denver
@ Dallas
Green Bay Packers (9-4)
@ Pittsburgh
Seattle
@ Arizona
Dallas Cowboys (8-5)
@ New Orleans
@ Washington
Philadelphia
New York Giants (7-6)
@ Washington
Carolina
@ Minnesota
Atlanta Falcons (6-7)
@ N.Y. Jets
Buffalo
@ Tampa Bay
San Francisco 49ers (6-7)
@ Philadelphia
Detroit
@ St. Louis

My votes went to GB, Philly, and Dallas. GB gets in with a win and a giants or cowboys loss or a tie and a giants loss. The East is gonna tear its self apart though, so I wouldnt be surprised at all to see ATL squeak in there since they have a "relatively" easy schedule remaining. Off the top of my head Im not really sure who has what tiebreakers down the line, but we could see this play out:
Philly: 11-5
GB: 10-6(or 11-5, or 12-4, but its not gonna matter, that will only play out for WC seeding)
NYG: 9-7(I know Gmen have the TB over Dallas)
Dal: 9-7
ATL: 9-7
-----------
SF: 8-8
And really, if Philly wins the division at 11-5, giving them the 3rd seed, and AZ takes the West and get the 4th seed. That SHOULD Set up GB at 5 and then either Dallas/NYG depending on how the ball rolls. We could see week 17 rematches in the wild card round. GB would travel to Arizona, again and Dallas would travel to Philly this time instead of it being in Dallas. Kinda weird. If thats the way it plays out, would they all "rest" some, or most, of their starters in preps for the wild card game?

Voted for the Eagles, Packers, and Giants. The reasoning behind my homer looking pick is simply the strength of schedule of the last 3 games compared to the Cowboys, who are already sliding. The Giants play Minnesota in week 17, but by then the Vikes will be resting starters it seems. The Giants won't get into the playoffs because they deserve to, but because they have the easier schedule. If the Giants can pull out 2 wins in the 3 game stretch, they'll be in.

I can so see the Eagles dropping 2 maybe even 3 games and not making it. I have not been impressed with Philly at all this year. They have had a cake walk but their last 3 games are their hardest games of the year it seems. Beating Atlanta under Redman means nothing and other then the Giants have beaten no one. Where as I hope they beat Denver I just do not see it happening and Dallas should run all over them to end the year. And after beating Zona SF is very much still trying to win that division and Philly seems to be the only team keeping them from going 9-7. I'm going with GB, Dallas, and Giants. The Giant look to have an easy path right now. 2 chump games then Minni who will likely rest half their starters that game. GB seems like a given and Dallas well will need that win in Philly to make the playoffs end of story.
