With Pennington out, Dolphins get Thigpen - NFL - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AhxBcGd835FC2cRU8AlicE1DubYF?slug=ap-chiefs-dolphinstrade&prov=ap&type=lgns)
I love this move Tyler will do well in Miami. Could recharge this team.

eh, thigpen is not going to start unless henne is hurt or ineffective. thigpen is just the emergency plan because the dolphins front office/coaching staff has apparently fallen out of love with pat white.

Well Thigpen has done some good things in the Wildcat... like that nice TD CATCH last year. Who needs Pat White? lol

I said before camp that I didn't think Pat White was going to be ready to make plays as a NFL QB this season. I appear to be right.
For the wildcat to reach it's full potential you need your starting QB to be able to run your wildcat Package, Switching out the QB for your "wildcat package" sends a fairly distinct signal to defenses that now have to know to be on their toes.

It doesn't say why, but it certainly shows that the coaches aren't enamored with Pat White. jj doesn't need an article to prove that to you, White didn't even see the field last week.

Because of an NFL rule, Pat White didn't see the field last week. Henne was the emergancy QB, and because he played before the 4th quarter, the number 2 QB (Pat White) and the starting QB (Pennington, just to be clear here) could not play in the rest of the game.
ANYWAYS; Pat White hasn't even seen sigificant playing time, is jj a scout for the Dolphins or something, because there's nothing to say the coaching staff is giving up, or even giving him more time, so I'm asking for clarification on that. The Dolphins needed a 3rd QB, Thigpen was the best and most likely only option out there.

When'd he say they were giving up? He said they're not in love with him, which I think is obvious, because if they were...he'd be playing.

I still don't know why anyone in Miami thought Pat white hould have been heir appearent to Chad Pennington. He's a Slot reciever, and a good Slot-option for the wildcat, what the dolphins needed was a vick-type QB so that your're not sending OBVIOUS signals to the opposing team about when you're doing a wildcat.
