ESPN: Dolphins lose Chad Pennington for the rest of the year - The Huddle: Football News from the NFL - USATODAY.com (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2009/09/espn-dolphins-lose-chad-pennington-for-the-rest-of-the-year/1)
Pennington's right shoulder injury is serious enough that he will miss the rest of the season. Chad Henne is believed to be the starter.

Man, that sucks. Pennington's career as a starter has to be over now. No team could actually put any faith in this guy for the long term to stay healthy after this now.
Man, it seems like this has been the story of his career. Every year he comes off of a really nice season he goes down the next season for the whole season. Freaking poor guy man. Great leader and great intangibles for a QB. Man, this sucks to see something like this happen to Pennington again. :nono:

Hope he does what he can from the sidelines, I feel as though he will. Great QB can't stay healthy, just wasn't given the durabilty

This bites for them and more so for him... This pretty much starts the Chad Henne era and if he takes off, it's going to be his job.
What sucks is... He still hasn't really followed up a full season with another one..

Got to give him a little credit he lasted a lot longer then I thought. Had him making half the season last year but he proved me wrong.

I feel bad for him. I've always liked Pennington, the guy has a lot of heart. It's a shame he can never stay healthy.

Its a real drag. I just watched a thing on him and his comebacks and storyon ESPN just the other day and thought - man, he seems to be a good guy, and seemed to get the job done for his team more often than not. Despite the questions of his arm strength, etc. he won a number of games in the NFL and was a guy you could count on (when healthy of course)

Didn't I call this like a month ago?
Or at least him not playing more than ten games due to injury...
