Clemson is getting their tail kicked
Wolverine

Clemson trying to climb back in.. Nice throw by young Kyle Parker and catch by Clemson, 14-24 if they can convert

Hold the phone, being reviewed.. it's sketchy but it looks like the hands are under
Wolverine

And Clemson is in this game, 3 point contest now.. Come on Tech..
Wolverine

Big stop by Georgia Tech with 3rd and 1 in the redzone.. Clemson kicker coming out to tie it up.

I'd say we got a ball game here folks. Georgia Tech's getting nothing on offense now.
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 10:29 PM
Georgia Tech has to get something going here in the fourth.. Clemson has all sorts of momentum right now.
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 10:29 PM
So much for that.. Clemson picks the ball off...
Nesbitt has been 1-11 with two picks.
Chris Raiden

Ouchies, BIG field goal there for Clemson.
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 10:39 PM
Anthony Allen is really giving Clemson nightmares tonight, maybe they need to get him the ball more..
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 10:40 PM
And here comes the Yellow Jackets with a bit of offensive momentum. Nesbitt with a few big runs
Chris Raiden

Love watching the triple option when it's not being run against us. Nesbitt runs it well, he just needs to work on throwing the ball a bit better.

Tie ballgame.
Georgia Tech's offense is gassed after that drive though. They need a break.
Wolverine

Let's see what Kyle Parker is made of.

Ramblin' Wreck sniffs out the double reverse. Looked like it was going to work for awhile.
Chris Raiden
09-10-2009, 10:50 PM
You stop the reverse, then you whiff on the run up the middle?
At least they're interesting on defense at Georgia Tech.
Chris Raiden
09-10-2009, 10:52 PM
Heh, fatigue setting in on both sides. Bad holding penalty to make it third and very long, and then a throw into the ground.
Great great nothing here, they're just tanked!
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 10:52 PM
And now Georgia Tech will get the ball with plenty of time to run their offense.
Chris Raiden
09-10-2009, 10:57 PM
Third and long, your quarterback sucks at throwing the ball, what do you do?
Throw it down the field and get the big play anyways. Good show sport!
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 10:57 PM
What a time for Nesbitt to throw for a first down.
Chris Raiden
09-10-2009, 10:57 PM
They are basically now in range to kick the winning field goal here if he can hit it.
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 11:01 PM
Good call Paul Johnson.. Don't want to be stupid now.
Chris Raiden
09-10-2009, 11:03 PM
And the kick is good!
Georgia Tech goes up 3 with 57 ticks left.
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 11:03 PM
Blair's kick is good, G-Tech up three with 57 left.
keep it away from Spiller on the kick off
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 11:05 PM
Ah boy they got lucky there.. A squib to the second most dangerous man on the field.
Wolverine
09-10-2009, 11:07 PM
hell of a play by the G-Tech DB
And Parker almost got cut in half.
Chris Raiden
09-10-2009, 11:08 PM
Parker was tanked there, he had nothing left.
Tech holds on to win it barring some stupid in the last 24 seconds, 30-27.
Wolverine

Ramblin' Wreck survives!
Parker looked like a freshman on that drive.

Not impressed with Ga Tech in the second half on offense...but they got th win...and that's all you can really ask for.
They have a tough stretch of games coming up, UNC, Miami, Florida St, and Mississippi St...that's a crazy lineup, and if they come out unscathed, or even with just 1 loss, they'll still be the favorites to me.

It's the ACC, so they probably won't, but I like them coming out with just one loss.

That was an excellent game. You have to be a little disconcerted about GT though. One offensive TD the whole game? The other two were on special teams. Over a third of those rushing yards came on two plays by Allen. Clemson showed a good blueprint for beating GT. It's just unfortunate that Parker wasn't a little more seasoned or I think they could have won it. He's going to be a good QB in time. I think it will be interesting to how Miami, NC, FSU, Georgia and even Vanderbilt approach them. It's like I said this summer....you're going to see teams figure them out. Those that have the size and speed (are you listening FSU, GT and Miami?) should be able to have success against them this time around.

I'm really excited to see the Miami/GT matchup next weekend. Should be a interesting if Miami has figured it out after last year and with a bye week.

I watched the highlights, great game it looks like...could no one tackle though? How many big plays were there?
Anyways both teams should be quality heading into the acc and ga tech looks good enough to beat miami from that brief highlight, but then again...how their pass defense?
