The Falcons have cut QB D.J. Shockley, handing the third quarterback job to John Parker Wilson.

This doesn't suprise me he had been there for years and just never moved in the depth chart or looked good in preseason.

Yeah, not too much of a shock here. They were basically just waiting for someone to step up and take the job from Shockley, which JPW has apparently now done.
