Looks like the Redskins are going with two quarterbacks, and Chase Daniel ain't one of them.

Yep, worse yet, they're not even going to put him on the practice squad.

I don't understand it unless they're looking for someone else as a third guy on the practice squad. At least need one more quarterback there just to take some reps away from their aging backup.

Count on Washington doing a dumb thing. They won't even consider him for the practice squad.

Seriously, what has Chase ever done to warrant his apparent lack of any kind of interest from NFL teams?

Other than something he can't control (his height), I don't get it either.

Solid locker room guy, good personality from everything I've ever seen, and he can throw the football well and make good decisions with it. He should at least get some looks as a developmental guy/long term backup quarterback.

Maybe Washington is after someone they feel will be cut. They truely can't go into the season with two Qbs can they?

Two on the active roster, sure, but not overall in the organization. All of sudden, someone goes down, you've got one guy to throw every single pass in practice.

And Todd Collins is getting up there in age, don't want to wear him out completely during the week.

Update: Chase Daniel will be on the practice squad for the Redskins if he clears waivers.

Mike Williams' comeback is complete. He made the roster.

And for the third year in a row, Northwood University Timberwolf Chris Wilson will be a Redskin. :no1:
