Very unconfirmed, but rumor has it Jamal Lewis will be the next big name to be cut in Cleveland.

At this point, nothing's going to shock me, including Bernie Kosar being named Eric Mangini's starter.

The way James Davis has played versus how Lewis has played...this one might have legs.

Yeah yeah, two Coca Colas today. That's probably what's doing it, I don't drink Coke very often, more a Mountain Dew guy.

If Lewis goes, is Davis the starter to start the season?

Damn guys taking my thunder away with my impending fantasy article.

Oh yeah, James Davis would be the guy if this were to happen.

Granted, I heard this second hand from a source claiming it was from Mike Lombardi, so I doubt it's real, but with the way he's been playing, I can see where something like this would get started pretty easily.

Do Cleveland Browns have RB Jamal Lewis on the chopping block? - cleveland.com (http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2009/09/rumors_persist_that_jamal_lewi.html)

There's confirmation that the rumor's spreading.

After chewing this one over for a few days, I'm starting to think (especially after hearing there's been calls coming from Carolina, and Jonathan Stewart's not been seen in the preseason at all) that there's a trade in the works with Lewis rather than just flat out cutting him. Just call it a gut-

Nevermind, gut feeling's still wrecked for me. Call it intuition.
