Ok, so last week, I called them the deepest defensive line unit in the league.

Giants fans, blame me.

Since then, Jay Alford's out for a few weeks, Canty's torn up his leg, and various other minor injuries have occured.

I'm actually more worried about the effect that this has on the secondary now. They look solid in camp but without the pass rush its going to be harder for them to stay consistent.

That's probably the bigger impact here, depending on the health of Kiwanuka and Umenyiora.

Up the middle's a place, at least in the passing game, not having a dominant guy isn't going to hurt you as much as if, say, the two guys mentioned above are out or a bit nicked up.

They are still sooo deep that even with the injuries I don't think they will suffer too much with the pass rush.
