Just watched the first half of this game. GAME NOTES...........................

Cutler sure as hell bounced back and looked great in this game. He made some really nice throws and found a lot of WR's. He looked very good on the run and seemed very comfortable. He had one stupid throw that should have been a pick, but luckily he had enough velocity on it that the defender couldn't hold on to it.

Olson looked great. He's going to have a very nice season being one of Cutler's main targets.

Forte is FANTASTIC! I'll admit that I was starting to get a little down on Forte, but NO WAY after this performance. He was running nicely seeing the holes and shifting from side to side very nicely. He was also active in motion on a few plays and looking to catch a few passes. I'm way back on the Forte Train BIG TIME!

The Giants offense looked not so hot. Eli looked alright, but it certainly looks like a lack of chemistry with those young WR's.

Jacobs was a BEAST!!! He didn't get a lot of yards on all of his carries, but he was like a freaking locomotive out there. He ran over Urlacher TWICE, and one time literally sent Urlacher flying like a rag doll. He was steam rolling guys on the Bears when they weren't hitting him extremely low. Didn't really get to see much of Bradshaw.

Haha I knew Culter would bounce back. It's only preseason of course, but I think Culter is going to bring me some major vindication this season.

I agree. He just doesn't have the weapons at his disposal yet though, so expectations numbers wise shouldn't be as high, plus he's going to make some mistakes by trying to force some things early on because well he won't have the weapons. He looked damn good in that game though.

If he truly is on his way to being a great quarterback, it won't matter. He'll elevate the games of the talent around him.

And in a way, if he can keep his attitude in check, I think he's got that kind of mentality where he's going to put the ball where the receiver likes it and lead them to the right spots to make YAC. He's got the talent to do it.

He made some terrific throws yesterday. He mad one fantastic throw on the run where Hester was wide open down the field and being typical Hester he wasn't able to adjust his body to running under it but it should have been caught and been a TD.

Forte looked fantastic as well.

That's what I'm thinking. Given a reasonable level of a talent, a great quarterback's greatness should shine through. I happen to think that Shanahan's confidence in him was justified.

I do too. Looking back to his senior year at Vandy, he certainly elevated the games of everybody around him.
