Nice test for both teams, but no Vick will probably keep the TV ratings at normal levels. Will Peyton throw more than 2 passes? Does someone emerge as a viable backup QB in Philly?
Thursday at 8pm EST. Live on FOX and Sirius Channels 124 & 127. NFL Network's first replay is Friday afternoon at 1pm EST.

Look forward to seeing Jackson for the Eagles.
Look forward to seeing Donald Brown for the Colts as he looked great in their first game.

Yeah me too, but thats assuming the offensive line which has 4 of its 5 starters sitting out will be able to keep Dwight Freeney and company off of Donovan long enough for him to find Jackson. LOL

Well tell me what you think Phil. Right now I'm looking at everyone on Philly as a crap shoot as far as fantasy goes other than Jackson who is very high on my list. And Mcnabb of course.
I mean Westy will get his, but with him being out for most of pre season and McCoy being there now, he'll probably lose a lot of those carries in the red zone or inside the 5. He'll get his screen passes and other opportunities, but I'm a little weary on Westbrook for the first time in many years.
Then Maclin is a rookie and most rookies don't do so well and he'll most likely be behind Curtis for a while at least if not for the whole season.
Then there's Curtis who you never know could be the odd man out but should start at #2, but could eventually be replaced at the #2 by Maclin. I like Curtis more than Maclin though as a draft pick for sure.
So Jackson to me seems like he is the only for sure guy that should have a pretty nice season where you could draft him somewhat high and get your dividends. What do you think here?

Its a complete fantasy nightmare dude. I wouldn't count on any of these dudes on draft day except for Donovan Mcnabb, Desean Jackson, or Brent Celek. If you're staring at Westbrook in a late round value pick i'd take a run at him. Curtis should be an easy pick at WR because you know he'll be productive and he's likely to fly under the radar in fantasy drafts this year. Their defense should be a solid fantasy pickup but without Dawkins and Stewart Bradley its hard to tell if they'll perform up to the expectations they set for themselves last season. You're right about the situation in Philly though, alot of guys are hard to guage for fantasy value right now.
Now what I will say that while Philly is going to make for some tough decisions on draft day they're going to make up for that halfway through the season. Philly is going to be a great place to look a couple of weeks into the season when you're looking to dump some guys who didn't work out for you or pickup replacements for injured players. Mccoy has looked great so maybe 4 or 5 weeks into the season he becomes a vialbe fantasy pickup for you if he's taking carries away from Westy or in the event that Westy gets hurt. Maclin is a guy who if he rises quickly could make for a great midseason pickup. Leonard Weaver at fullback could make for a solid bye week replacement in a pinch because he's being worked into the offense as a FB, a HB and as a receiving back. He's the biggest back on the roster and may eat up a large portion of the goalline carries.
Then you've got Michael Vick :shrugging:
Good luck. LOL. Even im not entirely sure, in Andy I trust I guess. He's got alot of options and alot of weapons for this offense to use but exactly how they're going to be used is a complete mystery at this point. I have a feeling its going to work out to be something pretty special from a gameday standpoint but from a fantasy standpoint its a complete nightmare.

Yeah, I think Philly will have a great offense this season as long as that O line holds up, but from a fantasy stand point I'm like uuuuuummmmmmm...........
Jackson I'm really really high on though and could see him hitting like 1,200 plus yards possibly and around 8 TD's.
I think there will be some other good players to grab between McCoy, Maclin, Curtis, and Westy, but which one is really the key and in which round??? Westy will probably still go pretty early because I'm sure many people in our draft won't be to knowledgable about McCoy. But like you say if Westy gets hurt, McCoy could turn into a stud really fast for whatever stretch of games that might be. I'm thinking both of them could be similar to how Jacobs and Ward's value was last season.
Totally agree with you about Curtis being a sleeper this season. He really could actually. People will probably be higher on Maclin I'm assuming because of what Jackson did last season and because of the name value.
Actually I think all of these guys could bring a very good value, but it's such a crap shoot of which one and when??
Mcnabb I'm going to give an over/under of 27 to 24 TD's passing wise if he stays healthy. He's never thrown for that many, but this year it just seems like he has to many weapons not to.

In 2004 with T.O. Donovan threw for 31 TD's, only 8 INT's and completed 64% of his passes.
If these weapons prove to be equal or greater than what he had at his disposal that year, look out.

Good sign for the Colts playing well early they didn't look so good the first preseason game. I'm worried about the Eagles D with out Johnson. I wasn't sure how bad it would be at first but it isn't looking great so far and I think teams are going to be more aggressive against them. On the TD to wayne there were actually two WRs wide open it looked pretty bad.
