Walter Jones (arthroscopic knee surgery) and Marcus Trufant (back disc issue) will both miss an indefinite amount of time due to their respective injuries.

We dont know what kind of sergery Jones got. It could have been a scope to clean things up. I could care less what he does tell week 1.

Trufant i am alittle worried about. But If he misses 6 weeks into the season Its ok. Josh Wilson i believe is a young to be star. He has play maker ability. But it does keep Kelly Jennings on the team i guess :cry3: I just hope he is inactive

Jones had microfracture surgery in the offseason (which I didn't know until I read this), and even a scope at this point isn't a great sign as to whether or not that's healing properly.

That's a big problem for the Seahawks going forward, almost bigger than losing their top cover corner IMO. Who plays the left tackle slot if Jones isn't able to go?

a scope isn't a bad sign. It could be to re-leave pressure. Plenty of players have had it during the season & right before the season. I am not worried. Jones is a player when it counts he will be their.

Also if Jones cant go Locklear will play LT. He is a good pass protector, just not the best run blocker. It will help that Seattle is running a zone blocking this year unlike past years with Holmgren..

Trufant gone is a big loss, mostly just Vs the games like the Cardinals. But Seattle is running a zone defense more this year. Wilson will start, he is good in the zone. He is also a play maker who when is confident is very dangerous.

Lucas has been playing well so that always helps some. Fisher since singing has done pretty good, Babineax is always a well rounded player. Missing trufant for the 1st 6 games isnt a terrible thing. He just has to be playing in the end/ finish of the season.

Yes, but a scope with a microfracture surgery prior to it isn't a great thing. It might not affect a tackle as much as it would, say, a running back, but it points to an overall problem with the knee that's not in great shape.

Kellen Winslow Jr had the same surgery this past offseason if I'm not mistaken if that tells you much of anything.
