2 rookies, Sean Smith and Vontae Davis.

Who plays?

Sean Smith and Will Allen.

I think of the two rookies, Sean Smith is just a bit more ready to play. Davis may turn out to be better overall, but Smith is the more polished corner right now.

Agreed. Smith has better technique and footwork. Vontae, I've read, has great closing speed but he's not picking up the defense as fast as Smith and it's causing him to think too much and play slower. He'll get it though. The talent is there and everyone can see it (so I've read) he just needs to study his play book more and then he can play faster.

Having Sean Smith as starter though is not a bad thing when you've got Randy Moss and Terrell Owens in your division. A 6'3" 214 lbs corner sure helps in defending them.
