Two years ago, with rookie Joe Thomas on the left side, many already dubbed the Browns line as the best in the NFL. Last year, they took a step backwards, but they're still a good line. Will the veteran Hank Fraley hold off rookie Alex Mack at center this year?

Short answer, not a chance. Alex Mack has worked with the first team every day and seems to have a lock on the starting pivot slot.

Mangini listed Fraley as the #1 C for his first depth chart.
All i've heard about Mack is that Rogers is tossing him around like nothing. Its not really surprising but i'd really like to see some more positive news about him...

That's good for him though, the more Rogers does it in camp and shows Alex Mack what NOT to do, the better prepared he'll be to go up against the Williams Wall in Week 1 or the Casey Hamptons and Haloti Ngatas of the division later on down the road.
