With Wells out, does Tim Hightower have the edge in the battle to be the Cardinals' starting running back in the season opener?

Wells will have the edge in the battle. He knows the offense better, He is practicing. You have to give him the edge. Wells isnt a must start like say Aaron Curry is on Seattle even tho Seattle has DD Lewis who is a solid starter.

Hightower's got a bit of an edge at this point having played Edge out of a job last year, and now with Beanie recovering from the ankle injury again.

It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out as camp progresses.

Edge took that job back at the end of the year though. Hightower was very very lack luster for a RB on one of the best Os last year. Edge had less carries more yards and more TDs. The only thing Tim brought was a few more short yardage catches. If Zona goes with him over Wells I be inclined to think wells was not what we all thought he was.
