The last time Chad Pennington started 16 games in consecutive seasons was...
Let me consult my statbook here for a moment...
Actually, it has never happened. In fact, Pennington has never started more than 10 games in consecutive seasons in his entire nine season NFL career to date.
So will Chad break the streak and start at least 10, or even 16 this season, or is 2009 destined to end with Chad Henne piloting the Dolphins offense?

I'm gonna say yes. Not sure why and have no real reason to so yes he makes it. I just think he will feel more comfortable in Miami then he ever did in NY and that will help him though the season.

He's started all 16 for 2 of the last three years, and Jake Long will continue to keep him upright. I'll say yes, but the smart money is probably on no.

For some reason, I just see it all falling apart for Pennington this year. It seems like something bad always happens for this kid immediately following something good. The Dolphins had a great turnaround last year, but they're also a favorite to fall flat on their faces this year if a thing or two goes against them.

Pennington has such a long history of injuries, it's hard to be confident about him staying healthy in any season. If he is though, his teams always seem to play pretty well and I'm sure he'll have a nice season.

good point RD. based on history, we would guess Pennington wouldn't make it. however, i never thought fred taylor was going to play as much as he did late in his career but he proved me wrong so I guess anything is possible.
