Cleveland Browns sign rookie Robiskie - Cleveland Browns Blog - Browns Beat - cleveland.com (http://www.cleveland.com/brownsbeat/index.ssf/2009/07/cleveland_browns_sign_rookie_r.html)
Last Browns rookie in is a...son of the former wide receivers coach, where'd you think I was going with this?
But the Browns have all their rookies in, and the first full squad practice is on Saturday. I'm feeling pretty good about this one.

i like it. He didn't miss any super valuable time and both he and masaquoi are going to get a lot of first team reps with BE out.
Its taken me a bit to get there, but i'm starting to get excited for this team. There are still a bunch of holes and a lot of ifs, but there is some talent there to work with. And hopefully we don't shoot ourselves in the feet with tons of false start and holding calls...

Unlike RAC, I don't think Mangini's tolerating mental mistakes, and his practice regimen includes tons of background noise at each and every practice, forcing the guys to learn in more gamelike conditions.

Just like I said, they both signed in time. I think Robiskie becomes the possesion receiver opposite Edwards. I am interested to see what becomes of Massaqoui though. I mean, does he beat out Robiskie or become the #3?

From the early reports, Massaquoi's the number three or worse right now. Every media account of Day 1 I've read today had glowing reviews of Robiskie, and not a word on Massaquoi.

Yeah, Massaquoi is a boom/bust pick... and i wasn't a huge fan of it at the time but we'll see...

After picking Robiskie, I was iffy on it as well, however, given that Edwards' status is still up in the air for next season, it may have been necessary. I'd rather have two second year receivers next year than one second year receiver and a rookie or scrap heap veteran if we're going to lose Braylon.
