SAN ANTONIO - If a T.O.-less offense means more catches for others, then why are the Cowboys' incumbent wide receivers and tight ends strongly endorsing the three-running back ticket this fall?
Let them explain from Wednesday's opening training camp practice at the Alamodome.
Says Jason Witten: "It's a dynamic group. When you talk about all these different things (on offense), I think this is at the top of the list with the running game and the weapons that we have."
Says Patrick Crayton: "If that's going to help us win ball games, I'm all for that. We have a three-headed monster. Most teams just have two. We have three guys who could go to another team and start."
