I like Sanchez. They were talking about this on the NFLN the other day and they said that Ryan could apply the same formula that they used in Baltimore.....strong defense and a good run game and not expect Sanchez to do it all right away. I think they will go that route because Sanchez gives them the best chance to win.

I'm not so sure about that one. Clemens is an experienced NFL player who some of us thought could be pretty good one day, and the whole rookie don't ask him to do too much formula that Baltimore used last year worked in large part because Flacco had a lot of snaps under his belt.
Sanchez has less time under center and many fewer live reps. He needs to sit in my opinion.

He may NEED to sit, but I think he ends up starting. I think he gives them the best chance to win.

Clemens easy. Usually I'd argue the preseason is not over but Clemens looked the best by far. He already has some pro playtime and knows the offense better then anyone at this point. Sanchez needs at least a year to learn this is not the same offense he was in last year. The JETS should not feel pressured to start him at all given the quality we have at QB and his expected long learning curve. If you go by training camp I'd say he's really 3rd in the lineup, he really did not look all that good on the 1st team. Ainge looked better and if not for the fact he missed time I think would have had a shot at the starter role. I think he will get just as much play time in preseason as Sanchez. I still think this kid is the best we have and could yet get a shot at proving it. Although I'm still not overlooking Chris Pizzotti. Word has it he was not as good as expected but Brian Schottenheimer still loves this guy.

ryan may want to implement the Flacco effect, but its new york. you expect big things from big players. im not sure if he can ignore the pressure if he starts to not ave to produce.

What Flacco and Ryan did in 2008 was NOT the norm for rookie QBs.
I suspect Ryan may not agree, and throw Sanchez out there....
