If the Ravens want to take their offense to the next level, their passing game has to improve. The Ravens have tried to address wide receiver, signing second-tier free agent Kelley Washington and entering trade talks for Arizona's Anquan Boldin.

Boldin would be a step in the right direction, but how much would they give up to get him?

I don't think it would matter Hawkeye. If they were to get Boldin that would be huge for them. With Boldin and Mason that would be enough to compete with the Steelers offensively for the first time in many years. They might not be quite as good as the Steelers on offense, but they'd finally have the talent to match a lot of what the Steelers have.

I'm just wondering if it would cost them something like a first and a third. Baltimore values their draft picks pretty high. Would they be willing to do that to win now?

I don't understand. With Boldin, the Ravens might be just as good as the steelers on offense? But last year the Ravens had the better overall offense than the steelers. So you're saying Boldin would make the Ravens worse than last year?

Sorry, but the Ravens did not have a better offense than the Steelers last year man.

And if you think that Bolden wouldn't help the Ravens on offense, well then there is nothing else more for me to say. I would think that 99.9% of any person that has any NFL awareness would agree with that, but I guess I was wrong. :shrugging:

I would certainly not mind getting Boldin. He is the final spark we need.

Ooooh, look at the pretty statistics. If that makes you feel that the Ravens offense of last year was better than the Steelers offense, then fine.



But it wasn't, btw. :D Run game was pretty damn good though.
