KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Tennessee is looking into whether it committed another NCAA recruiting violation by allowing media to be present during a meeting between coach Lane Kiffin and recruits.
A segment of ESPN’s “Outside the Lines,” which aired Sunday, showed Kiffin in his office with two people identified by the network as recruits.

Boy Hawkeye, you are on these reports regarding Tennessee and Kiffin like a fat kid on cake. Lol!
Man, I can't wait for college football to start to see Kiffin in action.

Just reporting what's out there. I passed this article up like three times before I finally posted it.

I'm starting to wonder if Monte is questioning his decision to join Lane's staff.

Hey, I'm not criticizing you for it or anything. I'm just saying. ;)
I think Kiffin is going to be entertaining though. I'm starting to buy into some of your ideas that this hiring just might blow up into Tennessee's face and he might end up looking like a fool out there in the next few years, but I do like his swagger and his attitude that he's attempting to bring out there. Lol! It should get quite interesting.

I just think he has a little too much swagger for not having done much yet. Look at how quietly Chizik is going about things at Auburn. I think Kiffin will continue to be a PR nightmare at UT.
Oh, and I loves me some cake.......as long as it's chocolate. :D

You may be right, but I still like it. ;)
I hope that Chizik does well. That was despicable what Barkley and some of the other people did that criticized Auburn for his hiring. He was totally fit for that job.

Ah man, you need to get a hold of a good ole Tres Leches. ;)

Well I'm no Spelling Bee champ in case you haven't noticed, but it's a cake that is like a wet cake. It has frosting at the top and is wet and juicy inside sot of like a cake pudding. I'm sure you've had it, but if you haven't, then you need to try one sometime.
Don't you live in Iowa? I would assume that Iowa would have that good home town country cooking and be real big on cakes and pies and stuff like that. Maybe I'm wrong because I'm just assuming but that is what I would expect out of a state like Iowa much like Texas.

Yeah, I have had something kind of like that before. We do have our share of good homecooking here......apples pies, pumpkin pies and especially rhubarb pie. :)

Getting back to football, I don't like Barkley either because he is a loudmouth that is always playing the race card, but he has a valid point underneath it all. Chizik took a team that had talent (McCarney didn't leave the cupboard bare) and did nothing with it. They lost to some pretty awful teams the past few years.
Buffalo was 10-69 in the seven seasons between moving to 1A and Gill taking over......and in three years Gill won a MAC title. One can say that it is only the MAC, but Gill beat MAC teams that Chizik couldn't.
