The much anticipated release of Levi Jones became reality Wednesday, another step in what looks to be the installation of first-rounder Andre Smith at left tackle.

Hopefully they use the savings, if any, to sign Hood...the CB position is really thin and I have no faith in Jones or Castille as the only depth behind Joseph and Hall.

we'll see if he amounts to anything. it's tough to judge any of the bengals from the past few years because they just haven't been trying.

He sure was a bust.He had a solid first four years...so i don't know about him being a bust. His knees kept getting hurt and he wasn't the same for the next three years. He was misdiagnosed by the Bengals training staff and got side tracked in coming back. I don't even know if he's even healthy now. He has looked terrible more than even average any time in the recent past. Hopefully, fans remember him for when he was a great tackle playing at a pro bowl level.

there are already a few teams bringing him in for visits. he'll catch on somewhere quickly.

Are you kidding? He was a dominant tackle for 3-4 years. He's just no longer healthy. Far from a bust.
Mike Williams was a bust. Kenyatta Walker was a bust. Robert Gallery was almost a bust, until they moved him. Levi Jones was far from it.
