Wasn’t it just a couple seasons ago that everybody was wondering why Kirk Ferentz was such a big deal? After all that pub about the Hawkeyes’ quick first couple seasons under Ferentz, the program hit a lull, and all of a sudden the “genius” wasn’t so smart anymore. Well, what do you expect from a school that’s located in a state that has precious few big-time recruits each season?

Wow #23, thats high for a team that the media considered to be a one man team. Stanzi should be big time this year though.

The media is a bunch of idiots though. I like that...."quick first couple of seasons." He didn't win a Big 10 title until his fourth season. Anybody in the media that thought they were a one man team didn't see the defense against Wisconsin, Penn St, Pitt, MSU or SC.
