We’ve seen a similar, if much smaller and more benign scenario playing out in the ranks of Texas college football where a war of words has erupted between Texas Tech’s head football coach Mike Leach and his opposite number at Texas A&M, Mike Sherman.

Sherman just needs to let it go and let Leach talk. He'll eventually get bored and complain about something else.

I love it! Leach keep it coming. I like the swagger that Leach has and the odd behavior and comments from this guy. He is just weird and it fits TT perfectly. I hope that TT can stay as a pretty good football team and I think they will. With TT doing well, it makes the Big 12 a lot more interesting and more exciting.
I just wish that they could beat Oklahoma for a change.

They just did in 2005 and 2007.

Ya, sherm just needs to let him talk all he wants. Leach is always going to have something to say so it could go on forever.

The Aggies are just mad because they become the whipping child for the Red Raiders both at The Jones and in hollow Kyle Field.

OU has lost their last two meetings vs Texas Tech in Lubbock.

Yeah, Hawkeye pointed that out. My memory has gone bad. Lol!
You know I like me some TT, but I do have to hate them on occasion Joey.
I do have to ask though, what has gotten into the minds of a lot of the fans out there? It's like so many of them have taken to this "rebel image" and gone off the deep end to respectability. NOt saying all of them, but many of them have gone into this "misfit" mode and I'm curious to hear what you think about that?

They have taken the whole Pirate thing and sort of run with it. Being out here in West Texas its sort of like us vs everyone else mentality. We are so far from a "major" city. I mean we are lead by a head coach who is about as unorthodox as any coach could possibly be. He does not care about PC, he speaks his mind no matter what its about and I think the fans have gotten to a point where its like, ya, who cares what anyone else thinks, we are who we are. You coming into The Jones and your going to be greeted by 50,0000+ people who feel they have two jobs, cheer on the Red Raiders and make life as miserable as possible for the visiting team.
