Turns out, when Oregon State beat USC 27-21 last year, there were 18 players on the field who would be selected in the 2009 draft.
And seven of them were Beavers.
If Alabama, Florida, Georgia and LSU had played a, you know, like a really cool four-way game, there would have been 19 total 2009 draft picks playing.
Hmm.
The only other time that many 2009 draftees were squaring off on the same field last fall? When Ohio State got walloped by USC 35-3.
Not to beat a dead Trojan, but if there was ever a need for revisionist history, it has to USC's loss at Oregon State last year, which was portrayed everywhere -- including the Pac-10 blog -- as a complete Trojan brain, er, cramp.
