Chris Perry Released; More Players Let Go

Running back Chris Perry became the first first round pick of the Marvin Lewis era to be cut Monday when the Bengals ended his injury-riddled five-year career in Cincinnati.

About time they let Perry go.

Gary Russell, Eric Henderson, Mike Doss, and Nate Lawrie were also cut.

Russell is kind of a head scratcher....he was only signed days ago! I would have liked for Henderson to get another shot at camp. He didn't have the same position two years in a row and never reallly got a shot due to injury, but oh well....at least they didn't cut Fanane, who I would lump in with some of these guys. Gotta clear some room when you have eleven picks.
