I don't know about you guys but I fully expect the Bengals to disappoint us in the 2009 NFL draft.

Do they take Andre Smith despite maturity issues? There's no question the kid can play but would he better suited at right tackle or guard in the NFL?

Marvin Lewis was talking nonsense about how they have three guys that can play tackle and they have players who can play center. Show me. Levi Jones is a shell of himself. Andrew Witworth is average at best as a tackle.

If Eugene Monroe and Jason Smith are gone by the sixth pick and the Bengals pass on Andre Smith, I hope they go with the best defensive player available. Knowing Mike Brown he'll opt for a running back or receiver- even if one of the top OT are still there.

I am really hoping for Monroe because I think that he is the best fit for our needs but the right things need to happen for us to have a shot. I am encouraged by some thinking that Sanchez may go to the Seahawks and that may leave Monroe for us.

Lets say, however, that Jason Smith and Monore are gone by 6 and Sanchez is still on the board...I would hope for a trade down to someone who wants Sanchez and maybe take Oher later. I really don't like the fact that Andre Smith came to the combine out of shape, what the hell was he thinking?? I just would not take this guy as a 6th.

If a trade couldn't be worked out then I would go with the best defensive player available (maybe Raji) and work on the line later.

Badeye - Do you have any thoughts on this one?

Petey - Are you still there??? I'd like to hear your thoughts...

Raji would be my first choice if Monroe and Jason Smith are gone by six. I would love to see them trade down with a team that would want Sanchez so they could possibly get an extra pick but I doubt they'd do it.

I want them to go center in round two if Mack, Wood, or Unger are there. If they aren't I'd consider DL or RB (or OT if they don't get one in the first round), then come back and hope Caldwell is there in round three.

There's an extremely minute chance of this happening but if the top two tackles are gone I would love to see Curry slide to six and the Bengals take him. Highly doubt it will happen, though.
