WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Purdue quarterback Justin Siller has been dismissed from school through 2009-10 for an academic violation.
The redshirt sophomore from Detroit was expected to compete with fifth-year senior Joey Elliott for the starting job next season.

Not a big blow for them. Siller wasn't that good. He was sucking so bad the first half at Iowa, that they started Painter the second half even though he didn't seem quite healed from his injury.
