The Moment everyone has been waiting for, the return of CURTain Call! This article will focus on the Vikings playoff chances, Tarvaris Jackson and the upcoming border battle.

The Vikings are officially out of the playoffs. It was a long-shot even with a victory over the Jets, but at 6-8, regardless of what the mathematicians will tell you, the season is over. But all is not lost Viking fans, there is still plenty of things to be excited about. Rookies Cedric Griffen and Ryan Cook have been getting some playing time. The Vikings will finally get to see if the rookies they hand-picked in this organizations' first draft are worth their draft status. And last but definitely not least, the Tarvaris Jackson era has begun.

The KW93 at DE part had me scratching my head. :huh:

I don't like having him at DE either... but I think for the short term it may help the team out... KW can't be double teamed as easily if he plays the end, and he might be able to get some pressure where the rest of our ends have failed...

At least we can finally, definitively agree on something other than the fact that the Wild rule: Gopher fans suck! ;) j/k guys :lol2:

Just because a gopher isn't as intimidating as a mighty badger doesn't mean that they suck. ;) Another great article Curt, about damn time we got another CURTain Call. :cool:

Not all gopher fans, just those that don't participate in Fire Mason chants and the 5 morons in front of me....

...Not all gopher fans, just those that don't participate in Fire Mason chants and the 5 morons in front of me....I figured KW was getting time at DE because we are deep at DT and because we only have 1 good DE that's healthy/not in trouble. (D.Scott) KW doesn't really have the build of a DE and is a borderline All-Pro as an interior lineman.

Is there a 'Fire the Gopher's Athletic Director' chant? If so, I'll be the guy in the nosebleeds that you can hear from anywhere in the stadium. :yell:
