Bleed, I have to tell you this first. I really liked Coles with the Redskins. I loved his explosiveness, and I loved that, despite his speed, explosiveness, and size, he had the toughness to make all of the catches across the middle.

Ever since the middle of November 2003, when Coles injured that big toe, his explosiveness is gone. In the two subsequent off-seasons, Coles has refused surgery to fix the problem, instead hoping that it will go away, or whatever is going through his mind.

That is another thing. The guy is extremely quiet. He admitted last off-season he was molested as a child, which explains being quiet. But not his stubborness in refusing to get that toe operated on. I don't think he is going to put up a dominant, #1 type year, until that toe is fixed.
