Last season's Packer implosion led to a major shake-up throughout the organization. They now are led by a first-time head coach presiding over a first-time defensive coordinator and a first-time offensive coordinator. The team is likely to have as many as four or five new starters on each side of the ball. There is no doubting that they are a more talented team than their 4-12 season would lead many to beleive, but there still remain several unanswered questions about the team leading into the 2006 season. Below, some of those questions begin the get answered.

special teams scares me, other than that i am way more confident going into this year as i was going into last year, i think its undeniable we have a more talented team and an easier schedule coming off of a terrible injury year, and we still only lost most games by like 3 pts. I see good things meng, good things.

I think Jon Ryan could be a pretty decent punter, but I haven't been watching practices or anything. Return men are fine, as well. We have options there. It's the field goals that scare me... a lot. I said all along we can only let Longwell go if we get Vinatierri... we went for him, we missed him. He would have been the clutch, bad-weather kicker we need. Cundiff was inconsistent in Texas Stadium--astroturf, partial roof, good weather. It scares me some, too. I guess we're gonna have to get TDs instead of field goals, huh?
