I think the close games Seattle has vs bad teams are a good thing.. Cause it gets them ready and helps keep them on the ground. If you watched the game Seattle got out 14-0 then they thought it was another blow out like the 49ers and Eagles. Mcnair is also still a very very good QB.. Plus we get Dyson,Herndon,DD Lewis all back on D in the coming weeks.

All three of these teams really hurt their playoff chances by not giving themselves a chance.
No matter how well the Dolphins have been playing the Chargers should have been able to win that game. They overlooked their opponent and Miami made them pay.
The Chiefs did not give themselves a chance against the Giants by not tackling Tiki Barber. There is no shame in losing to the Giants, but how can you possibly win if you let Barber run right over you?
Dallas Cowboys: They have two horrible losses against their arch-rivals. One winnable game that they let slip away in the final minutes, giving up two quick touchdowns on the SAME PLAY, and the other was a horrific beatdown where they never showed signs of life.

2) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (12-2) http://www.pigskinheaven.com/gallery/files/7/sea3.gif 30.3541 Tight game vs. Titans. Is it a concern?
I do not think that their game against the Titans is a concern. Unlike the Chargers, the pressure has been off the Seahawks for a while now so if they don't show "killer instinct" in some of these games it isn't a good sign, but is not really a concern I would think.
I don't think there is anything they can do untill their first playoff game to erase the memory of their past playoff performances, so even if they beat every "bad" team 40-0 they would still be a question mark for some people heading into the playoffs.

Just found this and figured I should add it...
Power Rankings: Colts remain on top
( which is how that should be IMO)
ESPN.com's Power Rankings
This week's rankings were determined by a poll of ESPN.com's NFL staff: writers John Clayton, Len Pasquarelli, Michael Smith, NFL Insider Jeremy Green, Scouts Inc., and ESPN.com NFL editors Peter Lawrence-Riddell and James C. Black.
After 13 straight wins, one loss isn't going to knock the Colts out of the top spot, as they remain the unanimous choice atop ESPN.com's Power Rankings. The next three teams (Seahawks, Broncos and Bengals) also remain unchanged.
The hot team this week is the Patriots, who jump from No. 9 to No. 5, giving the AFC four of the top five teams in the rankings.
Meanwhile, we have a new team at the bottom of the rankings. After 13 straight weeks in the basement, the Texans jump up one spot to No. 31 after beating the Cardinals. The 49ers, losers of seven straight games, grab the final spot. The two teams could get a chance to fight it out for the distinction of finishing No. 32 (and for the right to draft Reggie Bush) when they meet in Week 17
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/powerranking?season=2005&week=16
I think beating one of the top ten teams would obviously put them in the top ten at the very least...

Only thing that I see is the Cowboys are 1 spot ahead of the Redskins. Skins beat them twice, have the same record and have the 2nd tiebreaker as well. I would just swap those 2.

Well, to be honest, I think any fan who watches weather conditions should have known that Tampa was doomed to lose against the Patriots.
I think the Pats are an ascending team; I don't agree that was the statement game a lot of people think that was. While the Pats would've likely won, I don't think it would've been a blowout if they would've played in a warm environment like Tampa. This is the time of year when dome/warm-weather teams begin to struggle on the road.

Actually the weather was very comfortable that day for this time of year in NE...Over 40 degrees and the sun was out, hardly any clouds..I don't think the weather was the reason the Buccs' played poorly to be honest!

Maybe he just wanted you to break down WHY you thought they were extremely accurate..
Not everyone here is attacking you or trying to pick a fight like you think they are. Maybe try not being so defensive ..
I wouldn't mind seeing some reasons why myself. I mean why do you think that team deserves it more than this team and stuff like that...

Wasn't the big deal made in the media that Brady is undefeated when playing in temps below 40 degrees? I thought it was around the freezing mark. Not that the cold should bother a team, this is football. They need to adjust.

I asked why you said they were extremely accurate. Just because you agree with his comments, doesn't mean they are extremly accurate. Power rankings are not accurate, let alone, extremely accurate. Now I know your response was based on jjflr being your friend and you just wanted to give him props and not based on accuracy of anything but opinion.
If you want to call me a Homer and say that I am trashing his rankings, then so be it. I also at no time trashed your opinion or his rankings. I asked a question and you still didn't answer. When you posed a question in another thread, I didn't go off and say you were attacking me, I answered extactly why I felt that a certain player deserved my vote (just like you asked for).

Come on guys, we're all adults here. Why don't we keep it to football points. I will say this much. JJ mad his explanations and Ron agreed with them. Why would Ron have to make his own explanations when he's simply agreeing with someone else's.
But please, this is childish.
Yes completely agree that it is childish but to be completely honest..I am tired of those cheap little shots that Ron takes in his posts and personally I am pretty damn sick of it. I came here to get away from people like that and find I have to take that kind of crap here...
Cheap personal shots like this one...
just the same 2 OVER AND OVER again
And sarcastic crap like this...he does it all over the board and gets away with it yet I start replying and get that kind of crap??
also, it was more of a response to a guy i consider a friend on here, who does a lot of work on this ranking every week, just to be trashed by a few homers. as i have stated before, all rankings are always going to be off in the fans mind. but this one, i was in agreement with...so i am done here....good luck with the entrapment.......adios i am done with this thread.....and again, thank you so much for valuing my opinion, it means alot.
So call me whatever..a homer, childish whatever.I am learning to keep opinions to myself while others run rampant with the redundant BS that they so enjoy spreading....
I personally am pretty tired of it and see no need to have to defend myself for asking someone on a football discussion board to explain what they meant!
Sorry but I am totally sick of this...

Don't worry about BB, it's all good. I just thought this convo was getting out of hand. Nothing personal, to any of you.

It's cool ruuuuudiii..I didn't take what you said personally, I am just tired of the cheap little shots from "certain" posters all over the board. I apologize for getting off topic but a person can only take so much..
