In a turkey day extravaganza it is the early edition of Gator-bait, why? Well someone has to make the turkey picks, the gobbler go to's the....well you get the idea. Gator is rumored to be counting something other than beans this week, maybe sweet potatoes? I really don't know what a gator eats for thanksgiving, lets check in with our favorite reptile and see what he is counting for the holiday.
I wish college was just mindless bean counting like I do here. :( I'm counting pinto beans today. So far on the season Crunked is 75-53(10-6 last week) against me; and I am 88-40(10-6 last week)against Crunked. Gators is 106-54 for the season in his predictions thread. Gators currently leads 5-1-3 against Crunked.

This is going to be a great match. My only problem is who to pick. I've been going against both these teams every week, because I dislike both of them. Both QB's are resurrecting their careers right now, Jake Plummer is having an MVP type year after leading the NFL in INT's last year and Bledsoe is on pace to lead the Cowboys back to the playoffs after a subpar at best year last year. This is more of a hope pick. In a "It's Thanksgiving where you can give thanks and even I can't possibly hate the Cowboys for this weekend because without them there wouldn't be any football on this week."

The Pats finally got their first 2 game winning streak of the season in Week 10 and 11. They are sitting very nicely in their weak division, who nearly everyone predicted to be the best in the NFL before the season. They went Win, Loss, etc for the first 9 games and got 2 straight wins. Will they go for 3? Not if Larry Johnson can help it, he's coming off the best rushing attack ever by a Kansas City Chief player and well the Patriots haven't been able to stop the run yet this year. I want to predict an upset, I really do. Skins have only 1 loss at home(came last week against another AFC West team) Skins are currently 0-3 against AFC West teams. For the first time this season the Bolts might find themselves with a worse TE in the game as Chris Cooley is starting to breakout and being the leader reciever for the Skins and Gates maybe not playing. It's a tale of 2 defenses for the Skins, one that gives up 200 yards to Tiki Barber and then one that gives up less than 1.5 ypc against Brian Westbrook. I think the focus on this game is the Giants desire to prove they belong in the playoff hunt, and with Dallas winning on turkey day they feel the pressure, the Hawks on the other hand, don't really have anyone breathing down their neck, so you have to give desire the advantage here.

The Pats finally got their first 2 game winning streak of the season in Week 10 and 11. They are sitting very nicely in their weak division, who nearly everyone predicted to be the best in the NFL before the season. They went Win, Loss, etc for the first 9 games and got 2 straight wins. I want to predict an upset, I really do. Skins have only 1 loss at home(came last week against another AFC West team) Skins are currently 0-3 against AFC West teams. For the first time this season the Bolts might find themselves with a worse TE in the game as Chris Cooley is starting to breakout and being the leader reciever for the Skins and Gates maybe not playing. It's a tale of 2 defenses for the Skins, one that gives up 200 yards to Tiki Barber and then one that gives up less than 1.5 ypc against Brian Westbrook.
