Its time once again for your favorite admin, and gator to go head to head. I tell you fans I have him right where I want him. That little teeny gator brain is begining to over inflate that ego, there may be no stopping his accolades for me after this week. Now lets take a look at some sensless bean counting gator likes to do:
So far on the season Crunked is 19-23(6-8 last week) against Gators and Gators is 30-12(7-7 last week)against Crunked. Gators is 48-26 for the season in his predictions thread. Gators currently leads 3-0 against Crunked.

Atlanta at New Orleans 1:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: Atlanta is going to have a QB controversy as backup Matt Shaub nearly beat the defending champs. The only problem is they have the highly explosive Micheal Vick and he will likely return. The Saints should now be in the hunt for a new QB and coach after a 52-3 loss to the previously WINLESS Packers. I won’t lie, I expected the Packers to win, but not 52-3. Saints were embarrassed and embarrassed the city. Most teams come out very strong after they get embarrassed. In a “Let’s make our city proud again!” upset special
Saints 31 Falcons 28

Bait: Right out of the gate we have drama. Vick is back!......Maybe! anyway it doesnt matter they are a better team without him. Yup you read that right, and if he doesn't come back now people will begin to see that in ernest. Anyway, the Falcons D is a sacking machine, the offense a running juggernaut. The Saints Have Aaron Brooks....nuff said in the should be close but won't until the end in a shining defining character lighting moment.

Carolina at Detroit 1:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: It has been a tale of 2 seasons for the Panthers and the Lions this year. Both of them have shown their potential to be a powerhouse team, but then the next week they make everyone scratch their heads as to what happened. Both teams won last week, but the Lions were more impressive, which means a bigger lapse this week?. At least they are still in the drivers seat for the NFC North crown. In a “The Panther is a more fierce cat then the Lion, at least on the football field this weekend.”
Panthers 24 Lions 14

Bait:These final scores just in: Panthers 50 Detroit 0, Detroit 50 Panthers 0, Detroit 50 Panthers 50, Detroit 0 Panthers 0. Now its just a matter of logically deciding which one is the correct final score as two of the potentially best jekyll and Hyde teams meet this week. Gator is worrying about who is the king of jungle, for me I am worrying about which team has the best character. Detroits defense has been consistently good its the flaming joey's on the offensive side that have caused the nervous tick. The Panthers have been inconsistant on both sides of the ball, so in a joey keeps his job special.

Cincinnati at Tennessee 1:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: Chad Johnson finally has met his match. Someone can cover #85 on the Bengals. You know you are great when holding a guy to 52 yards and a TD is covering you. The Titans surprised me big time last week, they had a very good win against an underachieving Texans ball club. I honestly didn’t think they would win a game on the road all season. Chad Johnson is going to have a huge game this week, it doesn’t matter if Champ Bailey or “Space Invaders” Smith covers him. (making fun of PacMan Jones :/). Good luck Andre Woolfolk. In a “Dear Chad Johnson, thanks for saving my little boy named Wilson with CPR last week”
Bengals 38 Titans 17

Bait: Look, in the endzone, Palmer has two wide open targets! It's chad johnson and his ego, the kid can't make up his mind whether to feed the ball to the ego or the man....he's scrambling, scrambling, SACK! Vander Bosch gets another one!...and then Jeff Fisher wakes up, rats! its Sunday morning and we still have to play this one. In a Bengals get their stripes back bombs away special....

http://img420.imageshack.us/img420/8540/browns9wj.pngvshttp://img445.imageshack.us/img445/8452/ravens2ob.png
Cleveland at Baltimore 1:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: A Cleveland win would move them 1.5 games out of the basement. They played good football last week beating the Bears. The Browns are currently 2-0 against NFC North and 0-2 vs the rest of the NFL. I will propose a move to the NFC North for the Browns, because at least they will have 1 team near 500. Baltimore can’t beat anyone(unless you are starting your 3rd string QB with the initials BB on the 1st Sunday of the 10th month on the standard calendar). “The worst 2-2 team of all time against the worst offense of all time”
Browns 3 Ravens 0 (7 turnovers)

Bait:Well gator is half right, the Ravens couldn't generate points if you spotted them the first 90 yards, I still chuckle at all the people on this site that said these guys were super bowl contenders in the off-season. Clevelands defense is good enough to keep this powerhouse in check, and the Ravens D is good enough to keep the Cleveland scoring machine to a minimum. What that all means is it will be a low scoring game.
Browns 13 Ravens 6

Jacksonville at Pittsburgh 1:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: Both teams were very impressive in primetime last weekend. The Jaguars defeated the previously unbeaten Bengals and Steelers beat the red hot San Diego Powered Blue Super Chargers. As a Jaguar fan, I would love to see a Matt Jones sighting this weekend. You could use him for a WR reverse, as the QB, or a nice hook and ladder play. Or of course you can just throw him the ball, but that wouldn’t be as fun. In a “Marcus Stroud and John Henderson are big boys and need their nutrients, so they might have a Roethlisberger with Hines”
Jaguars 24 Steelers 17 (that joke is never going to get old) ;)

Bait:Jacksonville is feeling the pressure, butt so are the Steelers. Ben is a little banged up and so is Fred, its in Pittsburgh and I think that gives them a slight edge.
Steelers 17 Jags 16

Miami at Tampa Bay 1:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: Who would have thought that this game would be between the 2 best teams in the state of Florida? Well definitely not me. Guess who’s back! If you guessed Ricky Williams than you are correct. Nick Saban said that he is going to start both Ricky and Ronnie. Tampa Bay is 4-0 when having their Cadillac and 0-1 when they have the Caddy in the pits(lame joke, I know). It’s going to be an Auburn reunion for Cadillac and Ronnie who both went to Auburn last year. In a “Ronnie will start at RB and Ricky will start at the newly created weed back position so both will start”
Bucs 24 Fins 14

Bait: This will be a good match up on several levels, and can seriously threaten the Bucs with their 2nd loss. It will be the second game this weekend which will be a good old fashioned dog fight, I could see Miami somehow winning this one, but if they had twenty RB's coming back I have to give props to the Buc defense who has done very well against the run and will be the reason why the Bucs will win this one.
Bucs 21 Fins 17

http://img445.imageshack.us/img445/2972/vikings8zn.pngvshttp://img420.imageshack.us/img420/778/bears4yl.png
Minnesota at Chicago 1:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: Believe it or not, but there is good news for Minnesota fans! They didn’t lose last week! There’s better news too! They are still only 1 game out of the division lead! The Bears are actually tied with the Vikings. One of these teams will leave the other in the basement with porridge. The Vikings motto of the week was “Thank you Doug Eddings, for keeping us from being the headline story on Sports Center”(thank you Dan) In a “If you got W’s by having wild boat parties, then the Vikings would be undefeated!”
Bears 41 Vikings 10 (Sorry Viking fans, I love you all, I just couldn’t help myself)

Bait: The Vikings are on a sinking ship...not a party barge. This team is un-ravelling at every seam. They have the talent to compete for the Superbowl but at every turn they do something that removes focus from football, I wouldn't peg them to win a bowling match if you spotted them the first one hundred pins.
Bears 17 Vikings 14

http://img445.imageshack.us/img445/1063/giants4xs.pngvshttp://img445.imageshack.us/img445/3261/cowboys5vb.png
N.Y. Giants at Dallas 1:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: The Giants used their bye to their advantage, all football, no wild parties. While the Giants were on their bye week relaxing, the Cowboys were just completely tearing up the Eagles. These are big surprises this year, it’s a matter of who will keep it up. The Cowboys weakness is defending the pass, while that is the Giants strength. In a “’Keyshawn, just hold onto the DAMN ball’ -Bledsoe” special
Cowboys 31 Giants 27

Bait: The Boys have found a way to win, but I wouldn't discount Eli's arm. The rub here is the defense of the Giants is rather porous, and that will be the difference in the game.
Cowboys 35 Giants 31

Washington at Kansas City 1:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: Alright everyone, I know my gut feeling was wrong last week, but it’s time to follow my gut again(keep reading and you will find out what it is). I really like the Redskins matchups against the Chiefs this week. Our D is capable of stopping the pass, so the run game won’t open up. We let Tatum Bell run all over us last week and you know for sure that Gregg Williams won’t let that happen again. The Chiefs are coming off of 2 embarrassing losses, their bye week and the game is at Arrowhead, so without further ado: “Lavar, this is called a playbook, would you like me to read/explain it to you? –Gregg Williams”
Chiefs 24 Skins 23

Bait:Gator is half right, what else is new I know. Gators Skins will slow the passing to a trickle and KC's running game has suffered, the Skins are still thin on the offensive side of the ball but have been getting it done in come back fashion, In a can't believe the Chiefs are going to lose another one in Arrowhead at the end special.
Skins 17 Chiefs 16

New England at Denver 4:15 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: New England is coming off of an emotional win last week against the Falcons. Tom Brady had a monster game, but in order to beat Denver, their rush will have to open up the pass. Btw, does that Viniteri fellow ever miss? Jake Plummer(yes I have to say it) was awful last week, but Tatum Bell showed up. I don’t expect Plummer to be this bad again and can New England stop the running back machine that is Denver? In a “Denver can’t really be that good can they?” Patriots 21 Broncos 17

Bait: Start the hate mail. This is not intended to be a slam only a prediction. Okay that out of the way...SHOCKER ALERT!! Denver will give the Pats all they can handle, and in a "hey wait a minute here" special the Broncos will give the Pats running game fits, thus making Brady shoulder the burden, and yes gator I am gambling Jake will not come out throwing wounded ducks again this week.
Broncos 24 Pats 23

N.Y. Jets at Buffalo 4:15 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: Vinny and Holcomb are back and rejuvenated. They both had big wins last week in their first starts of the season. Vinny is the Julio Franco of football. I don’t know how he can keep doing what he is doing at that age. Staying with the baseball theme, Holcomb is like a Reggie Sanders in that he produces, but moves around a lot and never gets respect. Back to football, this will be a defensive struggle. In a “I thought I learned my lesson last week with the 10-7 score, I guess not”
Jets 10 Bills 7

Bait: Who is playing the best team ball right now between these two squads? Well the Jets are probably playing the best rounded overall, but this is a division game so these games are always closer no matter the match-up. The ironic thing is these two teams match up well against each other, it will come down to the running game, and the best running game will win.
Bills 14 Jets 10

San Diego at Oakland 4:15 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: The San Diego Powdered Blue Super Chargers had a tough loss on Monday night, but they proved that Tomlinson wasn’t their whole offense as he was contained. Oakland got a win! Janikowski probably got news that I was bashing him, so he decided to prove me wrong and kick a couple of nice FG’s last week. Will I stop bashing him? Not until he changes his school’s alliance.  In a “Super Charged LT will run all over Oakland’s suspect D”
LT 24(Chargers 28) Raiders 27(You guessed it, a missed FG)

Bait: Oakland is good against the run and poor against the pass. Drew Brees can get the ball to LT in the air as easily as on the ground? Okay well another heart breaker and high scorer as the Raiders continue to be the best 1 win team in the NFL
Chargers 38 Raiders 30

Houston at Seattle 8:30 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators:Houston surprised me last week. I thought for sure that they would get their first win. They really can’t be this bad, can they? Stat of the week: The Seahawks are catching the ball enough to be the #1 offense in the league. They don’t lead the NFL in drops, which in turn is making Hassellbeck into an elite QB(imo). Shaun Alexander and Walter Jones don’t hurt as well. Joe Jurivicious is the feel good story of the NFL. How can you pick against them this week? In a “Carr is still going in reverse”
Seattle 773420101 Houston 3

Bait:Seattle will win this one easy there really isn't much to say, Houston switching around lousy players on the O-Line makes no difference in a best squad to go winless one more week special.
Seattle 24 Texans 13

St. Louis at Indianapolis 9:00 p.m.
:gator: (http://www.pigskinheaven.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=73#)Gators: The Colts D FINALLY gets a test with the high powered Ram passing attack. Peyton looked like he was finally in a groove and he beat his little brother in passing last week. Oh wait, Eli had the week off. Last year I would have said the score in the mid to high thousands, but it should be a fun Monday nighter if you like offense. In a “Bulger will be the battering Ram for the Colts stats”
Colts 49 Rams 21

Bait: The Colts D finally gets tested, blah blah blah and they fail. They fail to deny the TD, in fact they will give up two of them, but more importantly the Colts win in a "Its as high flying as this team gets this year special"
Colts 31 Rams20

Vander Bosch gets another one!...and then Jeff Fisher wakes up, rats! its Sunday morning and we still have to play this one. In a Bengals get their stripes back bombs away special....

Skins 17 Chiefs 16 4th qtr TD chiefs :(
