By tuesday i've already had my fill of analysis of the sunday games. I also don't have a convenient block of time on tuesday scheduled for football related stuff. The average football fan who watches MNF has an hour or two of free time prior to the start of the game that they could be listening to this broadcast. ON tuesday, especially tuesday afternoon, i've already had 2 days of talk radio and ESPN coverage to tell me all I need to know about what happened on Sunday. Take a look around the professional broadcasting world during football season. By late tuesday they've already started to look forward to the next weekend. You guys would be well advised to do the same. |

Get an events section going on the site. There are lots of ways you can accomodate it. The point is that what you have going right now for advertisement/notice is forgettable. You need something visible, somethign attractive, something that sticks in your head. Drive around town and take a look at billboard avertising and what do you see? You see goofy pictures of talk show hosts with the call letters of the network in bright colors. The idea behind billboard advertising is to create something that sticks in your head so that even if its not a product you regularly use it becomes something you know about, something thats in your head, and if/when the time comes that you're interested in such a product it'll be one of the first things you think of. Have you ever seen a billboard advertisement that is nothing but a boring block of text? I'm not in on the ground floor of this project with you guys so im unfamiliar with your situation and your growth plans and your budget etc so I can't give you specific solutions without knowing these things. All I can do is highlight some business theory for you. I'll leave you with this question for you to ponder....... I think every single person who regularly visits this site can recall every specific detail of that Maxim add you have in your sponsorship banner down at the bottom of the forums. Do you think it makes good business sense that your sponsorship adds are more visible than the advertising for your own events? Are you here to promote your business or theirs? BTW, im listening to the archive of your latest show right now. |

Problem is.. Neither Raiden or Crunked can do Mondays... We aren't you know, trying to pull in huge audiences though.. The Monday option isn't being totally ruled out right now though. We are exploring that.
