Minter is a force in the middle of the Tiger defense. He does a nice job of reading where the play is going and finding a way to get off blocks and get to the ballcarrier. In the running game, he does a great job of shedding blocks to make tackles. Against the pass, he can be an effective blitzer from the middle and can run down the seam with a tight end. Minter isn't the greatest athlete in the world, and might struggle in matchups against very big, very fast tight ends, but he should be an effective player at the NFL level.
