One of the better defenders in college football, Werner racked up 13 regular season sacks in 2012 as a junior. Displays good awareness, knocks down passes, does well against the run, and basically dominated poor ACC right tackles all year. Werner possesses lightning speed quickness off the snap and does a good job of not running himself right out of plays. Good use of hands (although this could be improved some), and he finishes plays well. Overall, a top fifteen pick if he declares.
